2025 Week #44 - Spooky Happenings in the Business and Networking Scene This Week in London
Business and networking events • 27th October - 2nd November 2025
Welcome to Raise Your Profyle, a weekly round up of business and networking events in London brought to you by profylecard.com
Hello, and a very good morning! Welcome to Week #44 of Raise Your Profyle. I’m Chris, co-founder of Profyle Card, and I’ve been on the hunt to find you the most interesting business and networking events happening in London over the next 7 days.
This Halloween week, London’s tech scene is serving up something genuinely spooky: radical honesty.
Forget the usual polished pitches and success theatre; this week is all about raw vulnerability, from founders publicly eulogising their failed ideas at an idea funeral to Fuckup Nights showcasing spectacular losses and questionable decisions.
Between the confessionals, there’s substance: panels dissecting the evolution of product engineering, exclusive founder fireside chats exploring how to scale F&B brands organically, and intimate gatherings unpacking what it really takes to build. Whether you’re mourning dead startups, celebrating Caribbean tech talent, or mixing with music industry professionals at Shoreditch’s favourite haunt, the underlying theme is connection over curation - real conversations instead of rehearsed elevator pitches.
Sometimes breaking out of your usual events can lead to big things - check out my last post on crossing industries:
But now, let’s jump in to this week’s events…
